Mission Statement
As Senior Kappas, our mission is to recruit, reclaim, and retain members of our great Fraternity who are 60 years of age and older as active, contributing, and fully financial brothers. We are committed to fostering programs that promote fellowship, service, and personal well-being while encouraging our continued involvement in all aspects of Kappa life.
We take pride in encouraging our chapter and its committees to engage in community service initiatives that support and uplift senior citizens throughout our region. Through these efforts, we reaffirm our commitment to “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor” while remaining true to the bond that unites us as Kappa men.
Our Purpose
As Senior Kappas within the El Paso–Las Cruces Alumni Chapter, we represent a living legacy of brotherhood and achievement. Our goal is to stay active, relevant, and visible sharing our wisdom and experiences to strengthen the Fraternity and guide the next generation of Kappa men.
We continue to serve as mentors, community leaders, and examples of lifelong commitment to Kappa ideals. Whether it’s through chapter meetings, mentoring young brothers, or participating in local service projects, we remain dedicated to making a difference.
Our Goals for the Future
- Stay Engaged: We will remain active in chapter programs, community events, and fellowship activities that promote unity and pride among our Senior Kappas.
- Preserve Our Legacy: We will document and share the history, experiences, and achievements of our senior brothers to inspire future generations of Kappa Men.
- Promote Wellness: We will continue to support health and wellness initiatives that enhance the quality of life for our members and other senior citizens in our community.
- Serve the Community: We will expand partnerships across El Paso, Las Cruces, Alamogordo and the surrounding communities to strengthen local outreach efforts, particularly those supporting senior citizens and veterans.
- Strengthen Brotherhood: Above all, we will uphold the noble spirit of Kappa by fostering a culture of care, encouragement, and lifelong brotherhood among all members.
